The Monologue Audition

Since 1993, Karen Kohlhaas, Off-Broadway director, teacher, and author of the book The Monologue Audition, has been teaching a unique, dynamic approach to audition monologues. Her approach combines acting, self-directing and audition techniques into a fun, practical method that any actor can learn. Her workshop addresses every part of the audition experience, from entrance to exit, and has been met with overwhelmingly positive response from actors in New York, Vancouver and Sydney.

INSTRUCTOR: Robert Milazzo (director/writer) ? Robert is a director/writer/teacher whose work has been seen in film, television, and theater. He?s taught acting, directing, and screenwriting in New York, L.A., and Italy for nearly a decade. For two years, Robert served David Mamet's Project Associate, in addition to having worked with Mike Nichols and Sidney Lumet on film and tv projects. Most recently, he served as the Assistant to the Co-Executive Producer for NBC's ?Law & Order: Criminal Intent.?
