Killian's Commercial Workshop
|
|
|
KILLIAN'S COMMERCIAL WORKSHOP will teach you all the tools you need to ensure a successful career in the competitive commercial acting market! Visit our web page to see what all the buzz is about.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
In 2006, at the request of several casting directors and talent agents, I developed an Audition Technique Wokshop class that EMPOWERS THE ACTOR and takes all the "guess work" out of the audition process. My four-week workshop teaches any actor, at any age, and from any experience level, how to pinpoint the needs of the client and manipulate the audition process to the actor's advantage. This technique puts the actor in total control and gives them the knowledge and confidence needed to book the job! Ask around- the majority my students are sent to me by their agents to jumpstart a commercial career or resuscitate one that has stalled. I can help you too!
ABOUT ME:
As an actor, I began auditioning for commercials in 1998. Back then, I was thrilled to receive one or two callbacks a month. I believed all the same assumptions many actors hold. I convinced myself that booking a commercial was determined by the "look" of the actor, or maybe the client just decided to "go another way." I was content with one or two bookings a year. Then, I took a "part-time" job in casting and I discovered there IS, in fact, a method and logic to the seemingly random process of booking a commercial. Knowledge is power! I borrowed the casting director's perspective and applied it to my own acting career. I now have a 90% callback ratio and a long list of commercial work. Actors who take my workshop boast the same results!
WHY TAKE KILLIAN'S WORKSHOP:
My workshop gets results. I'm a working actor who's also behind the scenes in the casting trenches every day. This workshop will DE-MYSTIFY the entire commercial casting process for the actor. You'll learn everything you need to know, work on every possible audition scenario and situation you'd find in the real world, and gain valuable on-camera experience in a working casting studio. My classes are NOT a money pit. You don't need take one class before taking another. There are no "levels" or prerequisites and you won't spend a year with me doing silly exercises. I want you to come in, train hard, learn the RIGHT way, and get out fast so you can get WORKING! Isn't that the reason you moved to Los Angeles in the first place?
This is not "just another" commercial workshop like all the rest you've wasted money on. It is also an Actor's Showcase. I present a DVD of the final class auditions and present it to several major commercial casting directors!
