Description	Joel Asher offers three on-camera film and television Scene Study classes for different levels. The ongoing classes are $250 per month and include four group classes plus unlimited private coaching at no additional charge. The goal is working in front of the camera, so the scenes are primarily from film and television scripts, and the approach is designed to make you as comfortable and secure in front of the camera as possible. Scenes are videoptaped so you can see the detail of your performance, and monitor your progress from scene to scene. We do improvisations and exercises which are designed to enhance the scene work and spontaneity. I limit each class to 12 people so everybody works in every class.

Comment: I think Joel Asher is an awesome acting teacher - he challenges each student according to where they are in their skill level - delicately adding layers & developing technique to the point where you leave an audition and realize, "Wow, I'm a good actor!"

Young Actors Studio

Young Actor's Studio founded in 1996 by artistic director Jeff Alan-Lee. Offers a full conservatory or a choice of class for young actors in 3 age groups: 4-6, 7-12, 13 and up. Comedy Improv, Acting Technique/Production, Acting for the Camera, productions, and new original commissioned plays are some of the programs this Los Angeles based acting school offers.
