THE ACTOR'S WAY
|
|
|
TECHNIQUE, TECHNIQUE, TECHNIQUE!
The Actor?s Way is where technique meets talent.
Acting, like any art, requires a honed technique without the shortcuts. Only after you have built a foundation in technique, will you be able to experience the exhilaration of inhabiting the life of a character. You can finally stop relying on being in the mood to hit an audition.
THE MEISNER TECHNIQUE
The Meisner technique is accessible at last. If you take your career in acting seriously, you must train seriously. The Actor?s Way will give you a solid, accessible and truthful foundation in the Meisner technique. This technique will provide you with actionable tools every actor must have in order to breathe a fully realized life into a character. Only when you are truly ?doing? will you remove the focus off of yourself as an actor and put the focus on the desires and needs of your character.
THE POWER OF TECHNIQUE
Without technique, an actor can only hope to nail an audition. In other cases, an actor will rely on being in the right frame of mind (i.e. being in the mood) when acting.
SET YOURSELF APART
The Actor?s Way is for those truly committed to the craft of acting. In return the instructors at The Actor?s Way will provide you with the intensive, focused training you need to set yourself apart from the pack.
CLASSES
You will work in every class. Class sizes are extremely limited to provide you with the utmost of personal attention and direction. Instructors are master teachers, professionally trained in the Meisner technique.
Through scene work and class exercises developed for all levels, you will be able to unleash and develop your talent in a supportive, trusting and very focused environment.

Finally, you can stop relying on luck to nail a role. If you?re tired of classes where you learn to nail a scene and are then left without tools for the future, The Actor?s Way is for you.
